October through June, we really enjoy 'Burger Night' at the Depot Restaurant in Seaview. Built in the original train depot, the restaurant dedicates Wednesday's to a variety of burgers and sweet potato fries.. Year round, their full menu is creative and delicious. The 42nd Street Cafe has been a consistent favorite over the years for Andersen's guests. The eclectic menu satisfies seekers of traditional roadhouse meals like pot roast, chicken fried steak and fried razor clams. They usually do a nightly special featuring a fish dish. In the morning, try their bacon maple waffles. Mmmm. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Full Circle Cafe is the place all travelers look for…it has the flavor of the locale and great food. It's not very big. You might have to wait but the wait is worth it. While you're waiting, you can browse their yarn and needlecrafts store adjoining the restaurant.
Nanci and Jimella's Klipsan Market Cafe, north of Andersen's at 217th, is the latest venture of the gals who owned The Ark... the restaurant that put the Long Beach Peninsula on the map 30 years ago. When they first opened after their retirement from The Ark, they sold fresh seafood, some ready-to-cook entrees, and wonderful specialty items. The demand from their fans for "more" led to their current offerings of delicious fresh and seasonal dishes for lunch or dinner.
